I spent a decade sliding people into ultra-high field fMRI magnets to watch their brains at work.
Now I build immersive AI rooms at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon — therapeutic environments under real-time AI control, where sensing and generative models close the loop with the patient: movement rehabilitation for Parkinson's, exposure therapy for OCD and many more to come.
On the side: agentic coding and AI for science. grounded lets AI agents write scientific reviews — delivered as a quick answer in chat, a journal-styled PDF with generated figures, or a slide deck ready for journal club, in anything from rigorous scientific prose to ELI5 — with every citation drawn from real, peer-reviewed, retraction-screened literature. Its counterpart for code is verification-driven development: agents that ship evidence for their changes, not just the changes.
Always: founding member of Lunar Ring, an AI art collective exploring generative models as a new kind of instrument — played live, in real time, in museums, festivals, and public spaces; featured in the NVIDIA AI Art Gallery.
