My name is Jacob Lepler. I am a software engineer based in Washington, DC.

During the initial shutdown due to the pandemic, I decided to dedicate myself to learning software development.
I started writing code when I attended a Java Web Development Bootcamp sponsored by America's Promise Grant.
After the bootcamp, I was curious to learn more about Javascript, and later delved into MongoDB, React, and Jest.
One thing I've realized is that software engineering is one of the most collaborative career path's you could pursue...
And because of that, I decided to join Flatiron School where I learned other programming tools and worked closely with other developers in the pursuit of learning to code collaboratively.
