Repo <-> Wiki

Level 12 Careers (Public)

Note

As of 4/13/26, this repo is a work in progress and is missing some content mentioned just below.

This repo exists to increase visibility and communication regarding Level 12's open positions, workplace, culture, and hiring process.

You will find:

  • Documentation for candidates regarding our positions and processes
  • Issues, which you are welcome to open to help us fix or improve our docs/processes
  • Discussions
    • Regarding our open positions, hiring process, working at Level 12, or similar
    • Requests for comment: sometimes we can see problems in our process but don't know the best fix. This makes it easier for us to seek input.

TBH, this repo is a bit of an experiment. There are (good?) reasons why companies don't generally make career/hiring info so public and collaborative. Let's give it a try anyway and see how it goes. :)

Participation Guidelines

We have these guidelines for participation:

  • Be professional: interact with us here like you would if we were a client or employer. Hopefully, that's something like considerate and respectful (and we'll do the same).
  • No application status questions: if you've applied, use the direct channels we've set up as part of our application process to interact with us. Don't ask for application status updates here.
  • No automation or LLMs here. You'll get humans on our side; that's what we expect on your side.
  • No trolling or unconstructive criticism:
    • Acceptable: "I think this section on your job description is a bit confusing. Can you clarify..."
    • Unacceptable: "You suck because...I can't believe you didn't respond to me...etc."

Hopefully, the combination of low volume and good actors means we don't really need to "moderate" this repo. Please don't be the person who proves us wrong. :)

TBH, this repo is a bit of an experiment. There are (good?) reasons why companies don't generally make career/hiring info so public and collaborative. Let's give it a try anyway and see how it goes. :)
