Turn bounded evidence about an Orchestrator into an authority-correct finding or improvement.
improve is a standalone Codex Orchestrator that owns one bounded request to evaluate an exact target Orchestrator Revision. It can coordinate real, historical, synthetic, or disposable-fixture trials while every Target Project retains its instructions, work state, approvals, and native evidence.
Improvement means reaching the disposition justified by the evidence and authorized by the request—not merely finding something to change. improve preserves adverse and no-change results, isolates uncertain causality, and changes an owning repository only under explicit authority.
Start a Codex task from an exact revision of this repository and describe the improvement question, exact target Orchestrator Revision, bounded trials, Target Scope, evidence destinations, resource limits, and strongest allowed disposition.
- Architecture — purpose, outcomes, planning, findings, and terminal conditions.
- Authority — accepted requests, Target Scope, effects, dispositions, and evidence.
- Recovery — reconciliation, interruption, duplicate prevention, contradiction, and resumption.
- Scenarios — reviewable traces that pressure-test the contract.
improve runs independently. The lightfastai/orchestrator Workbench designs and evaluates exact revisions but is never consulted at runtime.
Run the local scenario suite:
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -vStructural conformance is checked externally from a Workbench checkout:
python3 -m conformance.v0_1_0 /path/to/improveimprove implements Orchestrator Standard 0.1.0. Its revision evaluations establish structural conformance and synthetic scenario coverage; real campaign traces will drive future revisions.
