🧔 About Me

I'm Louise Ivan Valencia Payawal, Co-founder and CXO at Ryder. We build hardware wallets for normal people, and we took the company from a 5K grant to $4.8M raised, shipping worldwide and securing millions in assets.

I was born on one of the small islands of the Philippines and found home in Amsterdam. Before Ryder I was Growth Lead at Stacks, working on making Bitcoin programmable, with stops at Hiro PBC and Freehold along the way. One year of this life looked like 64 flights across 20+ countries, basically as long as I have my laptop, good wifi and nice cappuccino, I'm gucci.

My 2026 promise is to be good at social media. It's working: my X got monetized in 90 days on 10 minutes a day, and I wrote down exactly how I did it.

📈 Growth Wins

Now developing a full-stack growth playbook across paid media, lifecycle email, and product activation, with hands-on experience scaling both software + hardware products. And there’s more, but the pattern is pretty consistent: I figure out distribution. Build the system and compound what works.

📚 Learnings and Hobbies

  • I track everything I want to improve: growth, burn, training, sleep. If it isn't logged, it didn't happen.
  • I built my own fitness and protocol tracker because the apps out there couldn't keep up with what I wanted to log.
  • I paint and sketch. Arts, technology, and community are the three things that kept showing up everywhere I lived, and Ryder is where they overlap.
  • One carry-on (this is a lie I always overpack haha), one packing list, zero decisions.

My 2026 promise is to be good at social media. It's working: my X got monetized in 90 days on 10 minutes a day, and I wrote down exactly how I did it.

Now developing a full-stack growth playbook across paid media, lifecycle email, and product activation, with hands-on experience scaling both software + hardware products. And there’s more, but the pattern is pretty consistent: I figure out distribution. Build the system and compound what works.
📚 Learnings and Hobbies
  • I track everything I want to improve: growth, burn, training, sleep. If it isn't logged, it didn't happen.
  • I built my own fitness and protocol tracker because the apps out there couldn't keep up with what I wanted to log.
  • I paint and sketch. Arts, technology, and community are the three things that kept showing up everywhere I lived, and Ryder is where they overlap.
  • One carry-on (this is a lie I always overpack haha), one packing list, zero decisions.

🧔 About Me
I'm Louise Ivan Valencia Payawal, Co-founder and CXO at Ryder. We build hardware wallets for normal people, and we took the company from a 5K grant to $4.8M raised, shipping worldwide and securing millions in assets.
I was born on one of the small islands of the Philippines and found home in Amsterdam. Before Ryder I was Growth Lead at Stacks, working on making Bitcoin programmable, with stops at Hiro PBC and Freehold along the way. One year of this life looked like 64 flights across 20+ countries, basically as long as I have my laptop, good wifi and nice cappuccino, I'm gucci.
