unknown type name 'off64_t'

When I try:

luarocks install --server=http://luarocks.org --local luazip

I get this error:

I am using Luarocks 3.3.1 and Lua 5.1.5 on amd64 Gentoo Linux.

@diamond-lizard if you are trying to compile this rock for use with Mudlet (also on GitHub as: https://github.com/Mudlet/mudlet.git) and are having issues you can use the alternative implementation (rock name "lua-zip") at https://github.com/brimworks/lua-zip.git as Mudlet can use (looks for both on profile load) either...!

Also, this repository seems to be unmaintained - the Luarock website does send users to https://github.com/mpeterv/luazip which is currently shipping a 1.2.7 version dated 2017 as opposed to this one's 1.2.3 which hasn't been touched since 2007!
