Currently, the playwright cli does not support using the local Chrome browser for browser-related operations via remote debugging (chrome://inspect/#remote-debugging). Instead, operations can only be performed within the sandbox. The remote debugging mode eliminates the need to enter passwords. Services like Vercel’s Agent Browser (https://agent-browser.dev/) do support this feature.
