Summary

  • Lead the Credentials docs with the two scenarios: seeding a known credential, and capturing a page-registered passkey then reusing it (the storageState analogue).
  • Document the defaults (platform authenticator, ECDSA P-256, discoverable credentials, user verification on) and make explicit that get()/delete() also cover credentials the page created via navigator.credentials.create().
  • Expand setUserVerified with behaviour details and an example.
  • Add a Passkeys (WebAuthn) section to the auth guide and refocus the WebAuthn tests around the two scenarios.

- Lead with the two scenarios: seed a known credential, and capture a
page-registered passkey then reuse it (the storageState analogue).
- Document the defaults (platform authenticator, ECDSA P-256, discoverable
credentials, user verification on).

Summary

  • Lead the Credentials docs with the two scenarios: seeding a known credential, and capturing a page-registered passkey then reusing it (the storageState analogue).
  • Document the defaults (platform authenticator, ECDSA P-256, discoverable credentials, user verification on) and make explicit that get()/delete() also cover credentials the page created via navigator.credentials.create().
  • Expand setUserVerified with behaviour details and an example.
  • Add a Passkeys (WebAuthn) section to the auth guide and refocus the WebAuthn tests around the two scenarios.

- Lead with the two scenarios: seed a known credential, and capture a
