It's confusing to see Command line alias added: "<alias>" when in reality winget will add package to PATH instead of using aliases.

Actually, the statement Command line alias added: "<alias>" itself is not entirely correct, as winget creates symlinks to executables and not aliases; at least in the case for portable installers.
The manifest spec also names the corresponding key PortableCommandAlias, but in contrast, the winget logs talk about symlink creation.

For context: The statement misled me to try Get-Alias in the hope of getting useful debugging information for my linked issue above.

Instead of adjusting the wording and keeping the inconsistency between packages that isn't readily apparent to the user, maybe WinGet should actually do what it says it does and add an alias - regardless of package type.
