👋 Hello, I'm Zain!

linkedin: zain-patelgithub: mzjp2stackoverflowemailwebsite

I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA in Mathematics in 2019. I then worked as a software engineer at QuantumBlack, specifically within QuantumBlack Labs across a variety of our products, including Kedro, our open source development workflow framework and CausalNex, our open source causalex inference library. I left QuantumBlack in early 2022 to join Maven Securities and help build out their new Systematic Alpha division. I'm a huge fan of open source, as a core developer on Zarr and with numerous open source contributions to various frameworks and libraries.

Blog posts

You can find my (irregular) blogging over at zainp.com/blog where I talk about everything from experimenting with Golang to some of Kedro's new features to hacking around with my banking app.
