Current Behavior:

$ npm remove react

  2. npm remove any package
  3. See error

                              Expected Behavior:
                              Package should be removed.
                              Running npm install -g npm@7.6 and re-running npm remove react I do not get this error.
                              Steps To Reproduce:
                              1. npm install -g npm@7.7
                              2. npm remove any package
                              3. See error
