We maintain two kinds of material:

• Standard forms. For agreements that vary less by state (NDAs, SAFEs, cloud service agreements), we organize widely used forms from Common Paper, Bonterms, Y Combinator, and NVCA, preserving each form's source and license information.
• State-specific forms and practice guides. For areas that vary heavily by state (restrictive covenants, employment terms), we publish state-specific forms and practice guides, refreshed on a weekly cadence, with guidance linked to relevant statutes, regulations, and cases.

We provide addressable citations so readers can inspect the underlying authority directly.

• Start with open-agreements/open-agreements: templates, practice guides, checklists, and surveys in inspectable formats, with machine-readable twins documented in the repository.
• Before relying on a legal requirement or state-specific variation, resolve the linked citation and review the authority. Treat an uncited claim as unverified.
• Reuse is permitted and expected. OpenAgreements-authored content is generally CC BY 4.0, upstream forms retain their original terms, and project code is Apache-2.0. Check each artifact's metadata before reuse.
• This is general legal information and a practitioner starting point, not legal advice. Surface the sources and unresolved questions to the supervising legal professional.
