Summary

IsUint8Regex used isIntegerRegex then std::stoi. Digit-only overflow still throws.

Reuse the existing SafeStoifrom_chars helper in the same file.

Test plan

  • Host+asan locally: overflow integer strings no longer throw; 0-255 still accepted.

IsUint8Regex already validates integer shape via isIntegerRegex, but
std::stoi can still abort on out-of-range digit strings. Reuse SafeStoi
(from_chars) so overflow returns false instead of terminating.

Summary

IsUint8Regex used isIntegerRegex then std::stoi. Digit-only overflow still throws.

Reuse the existing SafeStoifrom_chars helper in the same file.

Test plan

  • Host+asan locally: overflow integer strings no longer throw; 0-255 still accepted.

IsUint8Regex already validates integer shape via isIntegerRegex, but
std::stoi can still abort on out-of-range digit strings. Reuse SafeStoi
(from_chars) so overflow returns false instead of terminating.
