My name is Pierre-André (@pmudry) and I'm the head of the Computer Science degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland in Sion. I teach Imperative programming, Object-oriented programming as well as Functional programming.

In the curricula, versioning is gently introduced during the first year (only basic operations) and in the second year, a course called "Engineering in CS" has a more in-depth usage of Github (CI/CD, etc..). One of the main advantage of using github for the students is that it can be used afterwards as a display of what they did during their studies.
