PaperDisk

A simple text-based document storage service for storing your documents on a private vault-like environment on cloud with a 4-digit pin & password and access it anywhere, anytime..!!

Why PaperDisk?

These days notes and document storage has been an important requirement for users worldwide.. More, if they also get a cloud based storage approach for free, where they can store and access their documents, from any platform.

PaperDisk fulfills these requirement by providing a robust web based service(currently) where user can create a Cloud Virtual Disk (or Vault) on the platform and store unlimited documents on cloud.. Its all yours!!

After creating your disk, your disk is registered in our database, by a 4-digit pin, called Disk ID which is random, unique and is the only identity of your Disk in our database, so having the Disk ID, is the only way of accessing your Disk. By chance, if you forget your Disk ID, then there is literal no way of getting your Disk back, until and unless you recall it :(

The Disk ID is assigned to Disk, immediately after the Disk is created. The Disk is also secured with the password entered by the user, while creating the Disk.

Tip

  • Remember your Disk ID, because it is the only identity, and way of accessing your Disk! But that doesn't mean forgeting the password, and resetting it all the time
  • More STRONGER the Password, more SECURE the Disk

Some more important details:

  • Disk has capacity of storing endless number of documents in it (currently), but the platform may lag after creating 50+ documents in a disk. But don't need to worry because your data is stored on our database, and has realtime backup of it, therefore no worrying about data corruption

  • Paper is actually a synonym of Document for us. You can create store as much as of data, on a paper. And honestly noo limitations, just use it wisely. Consider not storing garbage, and dumping. So that the service doesn't lag off or gets down, because our service runs on people's donation. So consider donating too!!

Welcome to the PaperDisk wiki!
PaperDisk
A simple text-based document storage service for storing your documents on a private vault-like environment on cloud with a 4-digit pin & password and access it anywhere, anytime..!!
Why PaperDisk?
These days notes and document storage has been an important requirement for users worldwide.. More, if they also get a cloud based storage approach for free, where they can store and access their documents, from any platform.
PaperDisk fulfills these requirement by providing a robust web based service(currently) where user can create a Cloud Virtual Disk (or Vault) on the platform and store unlimited documents on cloud.. Its all yours!!
After creating your disk, your disk is registered in our database, by a 4-digit pin, called Disk ID which is random, unique and is the only identity of your Disk in our database, so having the Disk ID, is the only way of accessing your Disk. By chance, if you forget your Disk ID, then there is literal no way of getting your Disk back, until and unless you recall it :(
The Disk ID is assigned to Disk, immediately after the Disk is created. The Disk is also secured with the password entered by the user, while creating the Disk.
Tip
  • Remember your Disk ID, because it is the only identity, and way of accessing your Disk! But that doesn't mean forgeting the password, and resetting it all the time
  • More STRONGER the Password, more SECURE the Disk
Some more important details:
  • Disk has capacity of storing endless number of documents in it (currently), but the platform may lag after creating 50+ documents in a disk. But don't need to worry because your data is stored on our database, and has realtime backup of it, therefore no worrying about data corruption
  • Paper is actually a synonym of Document for us. You can create store as much as of data, on a paper. And honestly noo limitations, just use it wisely. Consider not storing garbage, and dumping. So that the service doesn't lag off or gets down, because our service runs on people's donation. So consider donating too!!
