The recent thread-body wrapper depended solely on generated flex-1 styling. In affected release bundles, the initial layout can leave the wrapper collapsed to its shell chrome and give the conversation feed zero height. A partial app swipe/window resize triggers another layout pass and can make the conversation appear, matching the reported behavior.

  • gives both conversation feed hosts an explicit native flex: 1 layout contract
  • adds a stable mobile conversation-surface marker
  • adds an anti-stack-drop existence test for the layout contract

Local verification: focused regression test, mobile typecheck, root vp check, and full monorepo typecheck pass.

Owner
The recent thread-body wrapper depended solely on generated flex-1 styling. In affected release bundles, the initial layout can leave the wrapper collapsed to its shell chrome and give the conversation feed zero height. A partial app swipe/window resize triggers another layout pass and can make the conversation appear, matching the reported behavior.
  • gives both conversation feed hosts an explicit native flex: 1 layout contract
  • adds a stable mobile conversation-surface marker
  • adds an anti-stack-drop existence test for the layout contract
Local verification: focused regression test, mobile typecheck, root vp check, and full monorepo typecheck pass.
