Summary

  • Expo Free plan monthly iOS build quota was exhausted, so eas build failed and continuous-deploy never shipped updates to the installed TestFlight binary (fingerprint a79f66c8…).
  • Replace silent continuous-deploy-fingerprint with a logged deploy script that:
    • OTAs when a matching native build exists
    • Tries a native rebuild when the fingerprint drifted
    • Falls back to OTA against the latest finished production binary runtime when rebuild is blocked (quota / credentials)
  • Support MOBILE_RUNTIME_VERSION_OVERRIDE / workflow runtime_version for emergency pure-JS ships
  • Add root .easignore so archives drop .repos/ and unrelated apps (~155MB → much smaller)

Test plan

  • Dispatch production mode=auto with runtime_version=a79f66c8… from this branch against current fork/integration tip
  • Confirm OTA group on Expo for production channel / that runtime
  • After Free plan reset (~3h from first failure log), run mode=build for the new fingerprint
  • Merge to fork/changes, compose integration, verify future auto dispatches use the script without overlay

Summary

Summary
  • Expo Free plan monthly iOS build quota was exhausted, so eas build failed and continuous-deploy never shipped updates to the installed TestFlight binary (fingerprint a79f66c8…).
  • Replace silent continuous-deploy-fingerprint with a logged deploy script that:

    • OTAs when a matching native build exists
    • Tries a native rebuild when the fingerprint drifted
    • Falls back to OTA against the latest finished production binary runtime when rebuild is blocked (quota / credentials)
  • Support MOBILE_RUNTIME_VERSION_OVERRIDE / workflow runtime_version for emergency pure-JS ships
  • Add root .easignore so archives drop .repos/ and unrelated apps (~155MB → much smaller)
Test plan
  •  Dispatch production mode=auto with runtime_version=a79f66c8… from this branch against current fork/integration tip
  •  Confirm OTA group on Expo for production channel / that runtime
  •  After Free plan reset (~3h from first failure log), run mode=build for the new fingerprint
  •  Merge to fork/changes, compose integration, verify future auto dispatches use the script without overlay

to the installed TestFlight binary. Replacing the silent action with a
logged deploy script that falls back to the latest finished binary
runtime, plus a runtime-version override for pure-JS emergency ships.

Native `eas build` was failing silently after the Expo Free plan monthly
