Summary

#270 landed on t3vm but /?thread= could still fall through to a new draft: the coordinator gave up if the thread was not in the shell list on the first bootstrapped tick, and server welcome bootstrap / index auto-draft could still win.

Fix

  • Capture deep-link intent at module load + layout
  • Index defers auto-draft for any live/pending ?thread= intent (not only when the shell already has the id)
  • Navigate using shell ref or primary environment (thread route owns loading/missing)
  • Skip welcome bootstrapThreadId navigation when a deep link is present

Test plan

  • vp test run apps/web/src/deepLinks.test.ts
  • Hard-refresh https://t3vm…/?thread=<known-id> → opens that thread
  • Same for this Discord thread: 3b13f3e7-d0d1-4c7d-9627-352046892edd
  • Unknown id → thread missing / back to index (not stuck)

Summary
#270 landed on t3vm but /?thread= could still fall through to a new draft: the coordinator gave up if the thread was not in the shell list on the first bootstrapped tick, and server welcome bootstrap / index auto-draft could still win.
Fix
  • Capture deep-link intent at module load + layout
  • Index defers auto-draft for any live/pending ?thread= intent (not only when the shell already has the id)
  • Navigate using shell ref or primary environment (thread route owns loading/missing)
  • Skip welcome bootstrapThreadId navigation when a deep link is present

fix(web): deep-link open without waiting on shell membership (#272)

#270 still abandoned `?thread=` when findThreadRef was null on the first
bootstrapped tick (or lost to welcome bootstrap). Always defer index
auto-draft while deep-link intent is present, navigate via primary env
fallback, and skip server welcome bootstrap on `/?thread=` landings.
