Problem

There was no way to hook process/data reaping to worktree removal or PR merge. Setup only covered runOnWorktreeCreate, and git worktree remove did not wait for any teardown.

Fix

Two independent lifecycle hooks on project scripts / t3.json:

HookTriggerBehavior
runOnWorktreeRemoveBefore git worktree removeRuns as a real shell process and waits for exit. Non-zero exit/timeout blocks removal.
runOnPrMergedVCS remote status sees the same PR go open → mergedRuns in the background for that status cwd (worktree/project). Does not require worktree removal. Once per cwd + PR number per process; skips first sight of an already-merged PR.

Scripts UI + user docs included.

Env for lifecycle scripts

  • T3CODE_PROJECT_ROOT – main project workspace
  • T3CODE_WORKTREE_PATH – worktree path (or project root)
  • T3CODE_LIFECYCLE – worktree-remove | pr-merged
  • Linked PR/MR when known for that branch/worktree:
    • T3CODE_PR – primary handle (URL preferred)
    • T3CODE_PR_NUMBER, T3CODE_PR_URL, T3CODE_PR_TITLE
    • T3CODE_PR_BASE_REF, T3CODE_PR_HEAD_REF, T3CODE_PR_STATE

and server tests get the service. Add GitCommandError.failureKind, fix null PR

Problem
There was no way to hook process/data reaping to worktree removal or PR merge. Setup only covered runOnWorktreeCreate, and git worktree remove did not wait for any teardown.
Fix
Two independent lifecycle hooks on project scripts / t3.json:
HookTriggerBehavior
runOnWorktreeRemoveBefore git worktree removeRuns as a real shell process and waits for exit. Non-zero exit/timeout blocks removal.
runOnPrMergedVCS remote status sees the same PR go open → mergedRuns in the background for that status cwd (worktree/project). Does not require worktree removal. Once per cwd + PR number per process; skips first sight of an already-merged PR.
Scripts UI + user docs included.
Env for lifecycle scripts
  • T3CODE_PROJECT_ROOT – main project workspace
  • T3CODE_WORKTREE_PATH – worktree path (or project root)
  • T3CODE_LIFECYCLE – worktree-remove | pr-merged
  • Linked PR/MR when known for that branch/worktree:

    • T3CODE_PR – primary handle (URL preferred)
    • T3CODE_PR_NUMBER, T3CODE_PR_URL, T3CODE_PR_TITLE
    • T3CODE_PR_BASE_REF, T3CODE_PR_HEAD_REF, T3CODE_PR_STATE

Problem
There was no way to hook process/data reaping to worktree removal or PR merge. Setup only covered runOnWorktreeCreate, and git worktree remove did not wait for any teardown.
Fix
Two independent lifecycle hooks on project scripts / t3.json:
HookTriggerBehavior
runOnWorktreeRemoveBefore git worktree removeRuns as a real shell process and waits for exit. Non-zero exit/timeout blocks removal.
runOnPrMergedVCS remote status sees the same PR go open → mergedRuns in the background for that status cwd (worktree/project). Does not require worktree removal. Once per cwd + PR number per process; skips first sight of an already-merged PR.
Scripts UI + user docs included.
Env for lifecycle scripts
  • T3CODE_PROJECT_ROOT – main project workspace
  • T3CODE_WORKTREE_PATH – worktree path (or project root)
  • T3CODE_LIFECYCLE – worktree-remove | pr-merged
  • Linked PR/MR when known for that branch/worktree:

    • T3CODE_PR – primary handle (URL preferred)
    • T3CODE_PR_NUMBER, T3CODE_PR_URL, T3CODE_PR_TITLE
    • T3CODE_PR_BASE_REF, T3CODE_PR_HEAD_REF, T3CODE_PR_STATE

There was no way to hook process/data reaping to worktree removal or PR merge. Setup only covered runOnWorktreeCreate, and git worktree remove did not wait for any teardown.
Fix
Two independent lifecycle hooks on project scripts / t3.json:
HookTriggerBehavior
runOnWorktreeRemoveBefore git worktree removeRuns as a real shell process and waits for exit. Non-zero exit/timeout blocks removal.
runOnPrMergedVCS remote status sees the same PR go open → mergedRuns in the background for that status cwd (worktree/project). Does not require worktree removal. Once per cwd + PR number per process; skips first sight of an already-merged PR.
Scripts UI + user docs included.
Env for lifecycle scripts
  • T3CODE_PROJECT_ROOT – main project workspace
  • T3CODE_WORKTREE_PATH – worktree path (or project root)
  • T3CODE_LIFECYCLE – worktree-remove | pr-merged
  • Linked PR/MR when known for that branch/worktree:

    • T3CODE_PR – primary handle (URL preferred)
    • T3CODE_PR_NUMBER, T3CODE_PR_URL, T3CODE_PR_TITLE
    • T3CODE_PR_BASE_REF, T3CODE_PR_HEAD_REF, T3CODE_PR_STATE

VCS remote status observes the same PR transition open→merged (once per
cwd+PR). Worktree remove only runs runOnWorktreeRemove and waits for exit.
