Summary

Adopt upstream pingdotgg#5493 user-anchored turn-window pagination (reverse load-earlier) onto current fork/dev as a single linear commit so the PR is rebase-mergeable.

Replaces closed#370 (that tip used a merge commit + was behind #369, which blocked Rebase and merge).

What lands

  • Upstream turn keyset + loadEarlier / OrchestrationThreadDetailPage + requestOlderThreadTurns
  • Client-runtime thread sync on the upstream semaphore/epoch model
  • Migration 037_ProjectionTurnsKeysetIndex (fork SQL ledger stays separate)
  • Green-tip fixes: migration 37 bootstrap/tests, source_json in windowed detail, identity source projection, streaming shell skip, remoteExists bootstrap mock, mobile surface markers

Superseded (intentionally dropped)

  • orchestration.getThreadActivities RPC
  • client olderThreadActivities / loadThreadActivities
  • activity-window detail model in favor of turn windows

Fork product kept

  • Follow-up queued messages / pendingTurnStart
  • Identity originSource / participant summaries
  • Fork projection helpers and surface markers

Prefer Rebase and merge or Squash and merge on this tip (one commit). Merge-commit is also fine if you want dual-parent provenance; this tip no longer requires it.

Validation

  • Static ship gate green on push (vp check + vpr typecheck)
  • Prior green tip tree preserved (CI was green on the equivalent product tree before linear rewrite)
  • Unit tests on publish (pnpm pr:ready) if/when ready to undraft

Related

keep fork queue/identity/pendingTurnStart and surface markers. Includes the
green CI tip fixes (migration 37 ledger, source_json projection, remoteExists
bootstrap mock, mobile surface tests).

Summary

Adopt upstream pingdotgg#5493 user-anchored turn-window pagination (reverse load-earlier) onto current fork/dev as a single linear commit so the PR is rebase-mergeable.

Replaces closed#370 (that tip used a merge commit + was behind #369, which blocked Rebase and merge).

What lands

  • Upstream turn keyset + loadEarlier / OrchestrationThreadDetailPage + requestOlderThreadTurns
  • Client-runtime thread sync on the upstream semaphore/epoch model
  • Migration 037_ProjectionTurnsKeysetIndex (fork SQL ledger stays separate)
  • Green-tip fixes: migration 37 bootstrap/tests, source_json in windowed detail, identity source projection, streaming shell skip, remoteExists bootstrap mock, mobile surface markers

Superseded (intentionally dropped)

  • orchestration.getThreadActivities RPC
  • client olderThreadActivities / loadThreadActivities
  • activity-window detail model in favor of turn windows

Fork product kept

  • Follow-up queued messages / pendingTurnStart
  • Identity originSource / participant summaries
  • Fork projection helpers and surface markers

Prefer Rebase and merge or Squash and merge on this tip (one commit). Merge-commit is also fine if you want dual-parent provenance; this tip no longer requires it.

Validation

  • Static ship gate green on push (vp check + vpr typecheck)
  • Prior green tip tree preserved (CI was green on the equivalent product tree before linear rewrite)
  • Unit tests on publish (pnpm pr:ready) if/when ready to undraft

Bring upstream pingdotgg#5493 thread turn windows, loadEarlier/keyset reads, and
client-runtime thread sync onto current fork/dev as a single linear commit
(rebase-mergeable). Drop superseded getThreadActivities/olderThreadActivities;
keep fork queue/identity/pendingTurnStart and surface markers. Includes the
green CI tip fixes (migration 37 ledger, source_json projection, remoteExists
bootstrap mock, mobile surface tests).
