Why

fork/dev was at 06de9e90a; upstream main moved to a3a8cbd60 (11 commits). Classic-merge so deploy keeps upstream as a second parent.

origin/main could not be fast-forwarded: the Protect upstream main ruleset still requires a PR + 4 checks.

Upstream range

06de9e90a..a3a8cbd60

Weld (3-way, not whole-file ours/theirs)

  • Keep GitHub-hosted ubuntu-24.04 in release.yml; take upstream's check_changes gating for relay_public_config / build_wsl_node_pty. Fork still has no scheduled upstream nightly.
  • Keep fork Direnv + add upstream ModelManifest on Claude/Codex drivers and server layers.
  • Keep fork Open With picker; file-manager labels go through editorLabelForPlatform.
  • Keep findThreadById / HashMap threads; add unsettledAt re-entry stamp (projector, projection pipeline, toProjectionThread).
  • Keep recency groups on mobile; add activeThreadAnchorTimestampMs.
  • Upstream migration 043 stays in Migrations.ts (not ForkMigrations).

Land with gh pr merge <n> --merge — never the squash button.

630e86d
Those tests mock useAssetUrlState. Under isolate:false ChatMarkdown is
already bound to the real asset URL atom, so useAtomValue() is null and
the signed-URL cases throw on `_tag`.

Why
fork/dev was at 06de9e90a; upstream main moved to a3a8cbd60 (11 commits). Classic-merge so deploy keeps upstream as a second parent.
origin/main could not be fast-forwarded: the Protect upstream main ruleset still requires a PR + 4 checks.
Upstream range
06de9e90a..a3a8cbd60
Weld (3-way, not whole-file ours/theirs)
  • Keep GitHub-hosted ubuntu-24.04 in release.yml; take upstream's check_changes gating for relay_public_config / build_wsl_node_pty. Fork still has no scheduled upstream nightly.
  • Keep fork Direnv + add upstream ModelManifest on Claude/Codex drivers and server layers.
  • Keep fork Open With picker; file-manager labels go through editorLabelForPlatform.
  • Keep findThreadById / HashMap threads; add unsettledAt re-entry stamp (projector, projection pipeline, toProjectionThread).
  • Keep recency groups on mobile; add activeThreadAnchorTimestampMs.
  • Upstream migration 043 stays in Migrations.ts (not ForkMigrations).

Those tests mock useAssetUrlState. Under isolate:false ChatMarkdown is
already bound to the real asset URL atom, so useAtomValue() is null and
the signed-URL cases throw on `_tag`.

Those tests mock useAssetUrlState. Under isolate:false ChatMarkdown is
already bound to the real asset URL atom, so useAtomValue() is null and
the signed-URL cases throw on `_tag`.
