Codes come and go, but my bugs live forever.

Rails developer based in BC, Canada. I write Ruby for a living, Vim script for fun, and Git internals for reasons a therapist might call "avoidance."

What I Actually Build

Upgrade your Rails app without gambling your weekend on it. Spins up two parallel servers — old branch vs new — against throwaway sandboxed databases, runs smoke tests against both, and diffs the results. Ships diagnostic probes for routes, constants, jobs, mailers, rake tasks, native gems, Ruby warnings, and SSL certs. Because "it works on my machine" isn't a deploy strategy.

Git reimplemented from scratch in Ruby. hash-object, write-tree, commit-tree, cat-file, log, update-ref — the plumbing, not the porcelain. Built because reading the source is fine, but writing it is how you actually learn something.

A living spellbook: Vim, Git, Ruby, Rails, MySQL, fzf, terminal tooling. The kind of file you wish existed the last time you spent 45 minutes figuring out why git rebase ate your stash.
