• linux-mint-cleanup-checklist.md — detailed cleanup checklist, safety notes, commands, and common false positives.

Run

chmod +x linux-mint-cleanup-audit.sh
./linux-mint-cleanup-audit.sh

For a deeper read-only system scan:

./linux-mint-cleanup-audit.sh --deep

The script saves a timestamped report in your home directory.

Important

Review findings before deleting anything. Name matches alone are not proof that a file or package is leftover.
