PFPlay

We are developing a social platform that combines PFP NFTs and DJing to create a new music digging culture.

PFPlay

Waiting for a build while vibe coding. Staring at the screen with no tokens left.A music DJing community you can keep on the side.

Relationships don't break. You just ran out of excuses to reconnect.

PFPlay is a space where simply playing music brings people back together. No plans needed, no effort required — just listening to the same music in the same room. A loose reconnection.

Party Room — Just drop in and listen together.

DJing — When your turn comes, play a track and get reactions.

Reputation — Reactions stack up into your music taste as reputation.

Onchain — Forgotten NFTs come alive as avatars. Playlists become assets.

Low barrier to enter. Endless reasons to stay.

What is PFPlay

An interactive social listening platform. Anyone can be the DJ, and everyone in the room listens and reacts together — in real time.

  1. Enter a party room — rooms are organized by genre, artist, or concept. Join as a listener or hop in the DJ queue.
  2. Play your taste — when your turn comes, your playlist plays for the whole room through the official YouTube embed player. Every play counts toward the artist's official view count.
  3. React in real time — Like, Grab, and Dislike. Grab a track and it lands in your own playlist. Reactions and chat happen live over WebSocket.
  4. Contribution becomes reputation — who DJ'd, what was played, how many listened, and how the room reacted. Each DJing is summarized and recorded as an on-chain contribution proof (ERC-721 on GIWA), stacking into your curator reputation.

Users never need to know Web3 to enjoy PFPlay — social login is all it takes. Contribution records are written on-chain from day one, and connecting a wallet is an optional, natural step that comes later.

Architecture

PFPlay architecture — pfplay-web (Next.js) talks REST and STOMP WebSocket to pfplay-platform (Spring Boot), which keeps history in MySQL, presence in Redis, and attests DJing summaries as ERC-721 on GIWA. Music plays through the official YouTube embed on each client.

Prefer it interactive? Download pfplay-architecture.html — a self-contained map with search, tracing, and themes.

Music never touches our servers — each listener's client plays the track through the official embed player, synchronized by the platform. Only the result of a DJing (who, what, reach, when, response) is summarized and attested on-chain.
