[Bug]: Send action disappears during active turns on desktop #7750

Description

@obinnanwachukwu1

Before submitting

  • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
  • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.

Area

apps/web

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open a thread on a desktop viewport.
  2. Send a prompt and wait for the turn to start running.
  3. Type a follow-up while the turn is still running.
  4. Observe that the composer shows Stop but no Send action.

Expected behavior

While a turn is running:

  • an empty composer shows Stop;
  • a composer with sendable content shows Stop and Send.

This should match responsive web behavior while preserving the ability to interrupt the running turn.

Actual behavior

Desktop keeps Stop as the only visible primary action after the user types a sendable follow-up. Pressing Enter can already submit the follow-up as a steer, but the equivalent button is hidden.

Impact

Minor degradation or papercut

The missing action makes supported mid-turn steering look unavailable and creates inconsistent behavior across viewport widths.

                          [Bug]: Send action disappears during active turns on desktop #7750

                          Description

                          Before submitting

                          • I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
                          • I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.

                          Area

                          apps/web

                          Steps to reproduce

                          1. Open a thread on a desktop viewport.
                          2. Send a prompt and wait for the turn to start running.
                          3. Type a follow-up while the turn is still running.
                          4. Observe that the composer shows Stop but no Send action.

                          Expected behavior

                          While a turn is running:

                          • an empty composer shows Stop;
