What Changed

  • keep the SwiftUI composer input and controls above a docked software keyboard
  • keep New Thread skill suggestions from displacing the focused composer below the keyboard
  • cover docked, hidden, floating, remote, inactive-scene, Dynamic Type, and footer-clearance layout decisions

Why

Typing $ opens the skill picker above the composer. On compact iPhone sheets, the picker and the keyboard could compress the composer until its input was hidden. The layout now detects a local docked keyboard, caps the visible editor to one line while it is present, and preserves a footer row at accessibility sizes.

Verification

  • focused iOS Simulator tests: 17 passed, 0 failed (FeatureComposerPowerTests and HomeThreadMetadataTests)
  • exact head 95e6e3f7dbdc12ef2f5c4d54cd77bda2f7b1e902 built, installed, and launched as com.t3tools.t3code.swiftui.dev on iPhone 17 Pro (iOS 26.5)
  • git diff --check: passed
  • independent Claude Opus 5 high review was attempted but unavailable because the Anthropic session limit was exhausted; no review result is claimed

Scope

SwiftUI mobile only. The provider-catalog fixture commit is present solely because this remains a dependent chain behind #6130; it is not duplicated as keyboard behavior.

What Changed
  • keep the SwiftUI composer input and controls above a docked software keyboard
  • keep New Thread skill suggestions from displacing the focused composer below the keyboard
  • cover docked, hidden, floating, remote, inactive-scene, Dynamic Type, and footer-clearance layout decisions
Why
Typing $ opens the skill picker above the composer. On compact iPhone sheets, the picker and the keyboard could compress the composer until its input was hidden. The layout now detects a local docked keyboard, caps the visible editor to one line while it is present, and preserves a footer row at accessibility sizes.
Verification
