Daybreak Blue and Red were falling through the Codex model allowlist and appearing as legacy models. Add both access-gated model slugs to the current model set while preserving legacy handling for gpt-5.5-cyber-preview, with focused regression coverage.

Closes#7597

Tested with:

  • vp test run apps/server/src/provider/Layers/CodexProvider.test.ts
  • vp lint apps/server/src/provider/Layers/CodexProvider.ts apps/server/src/provider/Layers/CodexProvider.test.ts
  • vp run --filter t3 typecheck

Built with GPT-5.6 Sol through the Codex harness.

Small allowlist change in Codex provider model metadata with focused unit tests; no auth or request-path changes.

Overview
Daybreak Blue and Red (including -latest slugs) are added to CURRENT_CODEX_MODELS, so Codex model listing no longer marks them as legacy via isLegacyCodexModel.

Regression coverage expands the legacy-classification test to expect those Daybreak models as non-legacy while gpt-5.5-cyber-preview stays legacy alongside older models like gpt-5.4.

The real catalog uses gpt-daybreak-blue-latest, so this verification also led to adding coverage for the -latest Daybreak aliases.

Daybreak Blue and Red were falling through the Codex model allowlist and appearing as legacy models. Add both access-gated model slugs to the current model set while preserving legacy handling for gpt-5.5-cyber-preview, with focused regression coverage.
Closes#7597
Tested with:
  • vp test run apps/server/src/provider/Layers/CodexProvider.test.ts
  • vp lint apps/server/src/provider/Layers/CodexProvider.ts apps/server/src/provider/Layers/CodexProvider.test.ts
  • vp run --filter t3 typecheck
Built with GPT-5.6 Sol through the Codex harness.

Daybreak Blue and Red (including -latest slugs) are added to CURRENT_CODEX_MODELS, so Codex model listing no longer marks them as legacy via isLegacyCodexModel.
Regression coverage expands the legacy-classification test to expect those Daybreak models as non-legacy while gpt-5.5-cyber-preview stays legacy alongside older models like gpt-5.4.

Daybreak Blue and Red were falling through the Codex model allowlist and appearing as legacy models. Add both access-gated model slugs to the current model set while preserving legacy handling for gpt-5.5-cyber-preview, with focused regression coverage.

Small allowlist change in Codex provider model metadata with focused unit tests; no auth or request-path changes.
Overview
Daybreak Blue and Red (including -latest slugs) are added to CURRENT_CODEX_MODELS, so Codex model listing no longer marks them as legacy via isLegacyCodexModel.
Regression coverage expands the legacy-classification test to expect those Daybreak models as non-legacy while gpt-5.5-cyber-preview stays legacy alongside older models like gpt-5.4.

Add Daybreak Codex models to CURRENT_CODEX_MODELS set
Adds gpt-daybreak-blue, gpt-daybreak-blue-latest, gpt-daybreak-red, and gpt-daybreak-red-latest to the current model list in CodexProvider.ts. isLegacyCodexModel now returns false for these models. Updates the legacy-model test in CodexProvider.test.ts to assert the daybreak models are non-legacy and gpt-5.5-cyber-preview is legacy.
