What

Removes the lone sent status (and its compose.status) from the ms-teams and google-chat connectors. Composed links are now created with status: null.

Why

These messaging connectors don't model a real status lifecycle — sent only encoded authorship (the user composed the message). It rendered as a permanent badge on every composed thread, cluttering the feed for no signal. This mirrors the slack/gmail status removal (where the same authorship/overloaded statuses were dropped).

Scope

  • ms-teams: drop statuses: [{sent}] + compose.status on both thread and dm link types; onCreateLinkstatus: null; remove now-unused StatusIcon import.
  • google-chat: same.

Status entries are optional in the SDK and ComposeConfig.status is optional, so omitting them is valid — composed links simply carry no status.

Notes

  • No changeset (changesets are twister/-only per AGENTS.md; this is connector-only).
  • Companion change in the core repo removes/trims statuses on the private connectors (linkedin, instagram, whatsapp) following the same pattern.
  • Go-forward only: historical composed links with a stored sent status render a raw badge until re-synced (fix-forward, no backfill — consistent with the slack/gmail removal).

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Messaging connectors don't model a real status — "sent" only encoded
authorship (the user composed the message), which clutters the feed with
a permanent badge. Drop the lone `sent` status and `compose.status` from
both link types on each connector, mirroring the slack/gmail status
removal. Composed links are now created with `status: null`.
