Summary

Full accuracy-and-clarity review of every doc in this repo — user-facing guides, agent docs (AGENTS.md files and the CLI templates bundled into the LLM twist guide), connector READMEs, and source JSDoc. Every checkable claim was verified against the current SDK types, the CLI source, and real connector/runtime behavior.

The docs had lagged several SDK generations. The big themes:

  • Thread/Focus/Link model: all remaining Activity/Priority APIs (createActivity, ActivityType, ActivityLinkType, nested priorities, start/done fields, Activity.source upserts) replaced with the current APIs — createThread, integrations.saveLink + source/sources, note actions/ActionType, schedules, flat focuses with key upserts.
  • Callbacks: string-name callbacks (this.callback("method")) replaced with the actual method-reference API everywhere, including @example blocks in source JSDoc.
  • MULTI_USER_AUTH.md rewritten: documented the per-user write-back dispatch model (acting user's own connector instance); removed the defunct requestAuth / private-auth-activity / installer-fallback architecture.
  • TOOLS_GUIDE.md rewritten against the real tool APIs (Plot permissions/options, Store SuperJSON + list/locks, Integrations connector contract + save APIs, Network webhook semantics, AI inputSchema/maxSteps, Tasks); added the missing Files section and pointers to Imap/Smtp/Twists.
  • CLI_REFERENCE.md: now matches the actual commands and flags (-e personal|private|review|public, --id, plot build), real credential storage (~/.config/plot/credentials/...), and real env vars (PLOT_DEPLOY_TOKEN, PLOT_API_URL); removed the fictional config-file section and flags.
  • Connector guides (BUILDING_CONNECTORS.md, connectors/AGENTS.md): declarative provider/scopes/linkTypes contract, runTask()-only onChannelEnabled with channelSyncCompleted, NoteWriteBackResult baselines, compose/onCreateLink, first-class link.channelId, facets.
  • Connector READMEs: google-calendar, google-contacts, google-drive, outlook-calendar, and linear still described the long-dead standalone @plotday/tool-* packages — rewritten concise and factual; airtable/todoist/google-tasks corrected.
  • Templates (AGENTS.template.md → bundled as the LLM TWIST_GUIDE, README.template.md): fixed nonexistent ThreadType enum members, activate(priority), NewThread.source, linkCallback, and the Integrations provider-config pattern; placeholders preserved.
  • Source JSDoc (comment-only, tsc-verified byte-equivalent code): fixed stale examples and claims in plot.ts, connector.ts, tool.ts, twist.ts, and tools/* (AI model names, AIUsage fields, Slack token metadata, files scope, twists tool examples).
  • typedoc.json: publishes SYNC_STRATEGIES + MULTI_USER_AUTH on the docs site and fixes source links (twist/twister/).

Verification

  • tsc (build + lint) passes; src diff is mechanically comment-only (every changed line is comment content)
  • typedoc builds with 0 errors; templates regenerate into the LLM guide cleanly
  • Link checker over all 43 markdown files: every relative link and anchor resolves
  • pnpm validate-changesets passes (patch changeset included)

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Update every guide, README, CLI template, and source JSDoc comment to
match the current SDK:
- Thread/Focus/Link terminology and APIs replace the removed
Activity/Priority model (createThread, integrations.saveLink,
note actions, schedules) across all docs and examples
- Callback examples use method references instead of the removed
string-name form
- MULTI_USER_AUTH rewritten for the current per-user write-back
dispatch model (requestAuth and installer-fallback are gone)
- TOOLS_GUIDE rewritten against the real tool APIs; adds Files and
pointers to Imap/Smtp/Twists
- CLI_REFERENCE matches the actual commands, flags, credential
storage, and env vars; documents plot build
- BUILDING_CONNECTORS and connectors/AGENTS.md updated to the
declarative provider/scopes/linkTypes connector contract,
channelSyncCompleted, NoteWriteBackResult, compose/onCreateLink
- Connector READMEs rewritten for the five still describing the
long-dead standalone tool packages; airtable/todoist corrected
- Source JSDoc comment fixes (comment-only; tsc-verified no code
change); typedoc now publishes SYNC_STRATEGIES and MULTI_USER_AUTH
and links sources to twister/ instead of twist/

  • Source JSDoc (comment-only, tsc-verified byte-equivalent code): fixed stale examples and claims in plot.ts, connector.ts, tool.ts, twist.ts, and tools/* (AI model names, AIUsage fields, Slack token metadata, files scope, twists tool examples).
  • typedoc.json: publishes SYNC_STRATEGIES + MULTI_USER_AUTH on the docs site and fixes source links (twist/twister/).

Verification

  • tsc (build + lint) passes; src diff is mechanically comment-only (every changed line is comment content)
  • typedoc builds with 0 errors; templates regenerate into the LLM guide cleanly
  • Link checker over all 43 markdown files: every relative link and anchor resolves
  • pnpm validate-changesets passes (patch changeset included)

Update every guide, README, CLI template, and source JSDoc comment to
match the current SDK:
- Thread/Focus/Link terminology and APIs replace the removed
Activity/Priority model (createThread, integrations.saveLink,
note actions, schedules) across all docs and examples
- Callback examples use method references instead of the removed
string-name form
- MULTI_USER_AUTH rewritten for the current per-user write-back
dispatch model (requestAuth and installer-fallback are gone)
- TOOLS_GUIDE rewritten against the real tool APIs; adds Files and
pointers to Imap/Smtp/Twists
- CLI_REFERENCE matches the actual commands, flags, credential
storage, and env vars; documents plot build
- BUILDING_CONNECTORS and connectors/AGENTS.md updated to the
declarative provider/scopes/linkTypes connector contract,
channelSyncCompleted, NoteWriteBackResult, compose/onCreateLink
- Connector READMEs rewritten for the five still describing the
long-dead standalone tool packages; airtable/todoist corrected
- Source JSDoc comment fixes (comment-only; tsc-verified no code
change); typedoc now publishes SYNC_STRATEGIES and MULTI_USER_AUTH
and links sources to twister/ instead of twist/

Summary

Full accuracy-and-clarity review of every doc in this repo — user-facing guides, agent docs (AGENTS.md files and the CLI templates bundled into the LLM twist guide), connector READMEs, and source JSDoc. Every checkable claim was verified against the current SDK types, the CLI source, and real connector/runtime behavior.

The docs had lagged several SDK generations. The big themes:

  • Thread/Focus/Link model: all remaining Activity/Priority APIs (createActivity, ActivityType, ActivityLinkType, nested priorities, start/done fields, Activity.source upserts) replaced with the current APIs — createThread, integrations.saveLink + source/sources, note actions/ActionType, schedules, flat focuses with key upserts.
  • Callbacks: string-name callbacks (this.callback("method")) replaced with the actual method-reference API everywhere, including @example blocks in source JSDoc.
  • MULTI_USER_AUTH.md rewritten: documented the per-user write-back dispatch model (acting user's own connector instance); removed the defunct requestAuth / private-auth-activity / installer-fallback architecture.
  • TOOLS_GUIDE.md rewritten against the real tool APIs (Plot permissions/options, Store SuperJSON + list/locks, Integrations connector contract + save APIs, Network webhook semantics, AI inputSchema/maxSteps, Tasks); added the missing Files section and pointers to Imap/Smtp/Twists.
  • CLI_REFERENCE.md: now matches the actual commands and flags (-e personal|private|review|public, --id, plot build), real credential storage (~/.config/plot/credentials/...), and real env vars (PLOT_DEPLOY_TOKEN, PLOT_API_URL); removed the fictional config-file section and flags.
  • Connector guides (BUILDING_CONNECTORS.md, connectors/AGENTS.md): declarative provider/scopes/linkTypes contract, runTask()-only onChannelEnabled with channelSyncCompleted, NoteWriteBackResult baselines, compose/onCreateLink, first-class link.channelId, facets.
  • Connector READMEs: google-calendar, google-contacts, google-drive, outlook-calendar, and linear still described the long-dead standalone @plotday/tool-* packages — rewritten concise and factual; airtable/todoist/google-tasks corrected.
  • Templates (AGENTS.template.md → bundled as the LLM TWIST_GUIDE, README.template.md): fixed nonexistent ThreadType enum members, activate(priority), NewThread.source, linkCallback, and the Integrations provider-config pattern; placeholders preserved.
