Summary

New @plotday/connector-outlook-mail package: full-functionality Outlook Mail sync for personal (outlook.com) and work/school (Microsoft 365) accounts via Microsoft Graph, at Gmail-connector parity.

  • Channels = mail folders (Inbox + Sent Items default; Junk/Deleted/Drafts/Outbox excluded). Folder enablement gates backfill; incremental sync is mailbox-wide.
  • Sync: per-folder newest-first backfill → one Graph change-notification subscription on /me/messages (/hook-sync validationToken handshake, clientState verified) → hourly self-heal with per-folder delta-query catch-up and subscription renewal (3-day lifetime, 24h renewal lead, 36h preemptive window).
  • Entity mapping: conversation → thread (source = outlook-mail:{mailbox}:{conversationId}), message → note keyed on internetMessageId; Prefer: IdType="ImmutableId" on all Graph calls; HTML bodies with quoted-history stripping (shared with Gmail); attachments as fileRefs with on-demand download; classifier facets from RFC 5322 headers + Focused Inbox.
  • Two-way statuses with Gmail's echo-prevention discipline: unread ↔ isRead, Plot To Do ↔ flag.flagStatus.
  • Reply/compose via Graph drafts (createReply / POST /me/messages + /send), access-contact recipient constraints, ≤3 MB direct attachments + upload sessions above, compose/send idempotency guards.
  • Contact enrichment: display names from /me/people + /me/contacts (best-effort; avatars are not enrichable — Graph photos have no public URLs — documented in README).

Testing

  • pnpm build, pnpm test (29 unit tests: transform, status helpers, channel routing, recipient constraints, facets, enrichment, quote stripping), plot lint — all green; pnpm -r build across the workspace passes.
  • Manual E2E test plan (personal + work accounts, round-trips, self-heal, teardown) included in the package README; live pass pending Azure scope additions.

No Twister/SDK changes → no changeset (connectors are changeset-ignored).

Summary
New @plotday/connector-outlook-mail package: full-functionality Outlook Mail sync for personal (outlook.com) and work/school (Microsoft 365) accounts via Microsoft Graph, at Gmail-connector parity.
  • Channels = mail folders (Inbox + Sent Items default; Junk/Deleted/Drafts/Outbox excluded). Folder enablement gates backfill; incremental sync is mailbox-wide.
  • Sync: per-folder newest-first backfill → one Graph change-notification subscription on /me/messages (/hook-sync validationToken handshake, clientState verified) → hourly self-heal with per-folder delta-query catch-up and subscription renewal (3-day lifetime, 24h renewal lead, 36h preemptive window).
  • Entity mapping: conversation → thread (source = outlook-mail:{mailbox}:{conversationId}), message → note keyed on internetMessageId; Prefer: IdType="ImmutableId" on all Graph calls; HTML bodies with quoted-history stripping (shared with Gmail); attachments as fileRefs with on-demand download; classifier facets from RFC 5322 headers + Focused Inbox.
  • Two-way statuses with Gmail's echo-prevention discipline: unread ↔ isRead, Plot To Do ↔ flag.flagStatus.
  • Reply/compose via Graph drafts (createReply / POST /me/messages + /send), access-contact recipient constraints, ≤3 MB direct attachments + upload sessions above, compose/send idempotency guards.
  • Contact enrichment: display names from /me/people + /me/contacts (best-effort; avatars are not enrichable — Graph photos have no public URLs — documented in README).
Testing
  • pnpm build, pnpm test (29 unit tests: transform, status helpers, channel routing, recipient constraints, facets, enrichment, quote stripping), plot lint — all green; pnpm -r build across the workspace passes.
  • Manual E2E test plan (personal + work accounts, round-trips, self-heal, teardown) included in the package README; live pass pending Azure scope additions.
No Twister/SDK changes → no changeset (connectors are changeset-ignored).
