Combines the outlook-mail and outlook-calendar connectors into one @plotday/connector-outlook composite connection (products: Mail, Calendar, Contacts), mirroring the shipped Google composite. Provider-agnostic composite machinery already exists in core/Flutter/API, so this is connector-only (+ a gated apps/site entry in a separate plotday/core PR).

plotTwistId: 019efc35-1807-7928-b58e-4994539a39cc

What changed

  • outlook-mail: extracted channels.ts (scopes, link types, getOutlookMailChannels) + sync.ts (host-pattern *Fn + OutlookMailSyncHost); OutlookMail is now a thin driver over them. Behavior-preserving (36 tests green, +1 enrichment-degradation test).
  • outlook-calendar: same treatment (channels.ts + sync.ts, descriptor-style host). Behavior-preserving (tsc clean; no test suite).
  • New connectors/outlook: composite Outlook class (Mail/Calendar lifecycle + Contacts no-op + write-back routing), scopes.ts (3 optional scope groups), products/*, and the pure helpers (compose/product-channel/product-status) copied from the google package. 46 unit/integration tests.

Design

  • Channel ids namespaced <product>:<rawId>; per-product storage hosts key-prefixed (mail:/calendar:). Mail host has a scheduler block (gmail-style); Calendar uses returned descriptors.
  • Contacts is channelless + no-op: enabling only grants people.read/contacts.read, which Mail's sync reads via token.scopes to enrich names (degrades gracefully when absent). No contacts import.
  • Source keys unchanged (outlook-mail:<email>:<convId>, outlook-calendar:<calId>:<eventId> + aliases) — cross-user dedup + future-cutover convergence preserved.
  • Standalone outlook-mail/outlook-calendar remain deployable and behaviorally unchanged.

Scope / gating

  • Review-only: @plotday/connector-outlook is intentionally NOT in connectors/deploy.json (like the google composite). Production cutover/"bankruptcy" of existing Outlook connections is deferred to a later manual runbook.
  • No Microsoft To-Do (no connector exists); no contacts import.

Merge order

Merge this PR first, then the plotday/core PR that adds the gated site entry and bumps the submodule pointer.

  • outlook-mail: extracted channels.ts (scopes, link types, getOutlookMailChannels) + sync.ts (host-pattern *Fn + OutlookMailSyncHost); OutlookMail is now a thin driver over them. Behavior-preserving (36 tests green, +1 enrichment-degradation test).
  • outlook-calendar: same treatment (channels.ts + sync.ts, descriptor-style host). Behavior-preserving (tsc clean; no test suite).
  • New connectors/outlook: composite Outlook class (Mail/Calendar lifecycle + Contacts no-op + write-back routing), scopes.ts (3 optional scope groups), products/*, and the pure helpers (compose/product-channel/product-status) copied from the google package. 46 unit/integration tests.

Design

  • Channel ids namespaced <product>:<rawId>; per-product storage hosts key-prefixed (mail:/calendar:). Mail host has a scheduler block (gmail-style); Calendar uses returned descriptors.
  • Contacts is channelless + no-op: enabling only grants people.read/contacts.read, which Mail's sync reads via token.scopes to enrich names (degrades gracefully when absent). No contacts import.
  • Source keys unchanged (outlook-mail:<email>:<convId>, outlook-calendar:<calId>:<eventId> + aliases) — cross-user dedup + future-cutover convergence preserved.
  • Standalone outlook-mail/outlook-calendar remain deployable and behaviorally unchanged.

Scope / gating

  • Review-only: @plotday/connector-outlook is intentionally NOT in connectors/deploy.json (like the google composite). Production cutover/"bankruptcy" of existing Outlook connections is deferred to a later manual runbook.
  • No Microsoft To-Do (no connector exists); no contacts import.

Merge order

Merge this PR first, then the plotday/core PR that adds the gated site entry and bumps the submodule pointer.
