Summary

Three additive Twister SDK changes that support the LinkedIn Public Post channel (private-repo feature; this SDK PR is its prerequisite). All backwards-compatible.

  • LinkTypeConfig.reactionCapabilities? — per-link-type reaction vocabulary, overriding the connector-level Connector.reactionCapabilities. Lets a connector expose different reaction sets per thread type (e.g. LinkedIn DMs' 7-emoji set vs. posts' fixed 6 post-reactions).
  • CreateLinkDraft.attachments? — file actions on the composed thread's first note, so a link type whose compose creates media (e.g. a LinkedIn post with an image) can read the bytes via the Files tool in onCreateLink.
  • SerializableArrayReadonlyArray<Serializable> — widen so readonly arrays (e.g. a connector's reactionCapabilities.allowed declared as const, reached through LinkTypeConfig and stored via Store.set) satisfy Serializable. Strictly more permissive: Array<T> extends ReadonlyArray<T>, and nothing in the repo declares a mutable SerializableArray variable, so no existing producer breaks. Fixes a workers/api type error that adding reactionCapabilities (readonly fields) would otherwise cause when Channel[] flows through Store.set/get.

Changesets

  • linkedin-post-linktype-fields.md (minor): the two new LinkTypeConfig/CreateLinkDraft fields.
  • serializable-readonly-arrays.md (patch): the SerializableArray widening.

Backwards compatibility

Both new fields are optional; the Serializable widening only relaxes the constraint. Existing connectors and clients are unaffected. pnpm build succeeds and pnpm validate-changesets passes.

LinkTypeConfig.reactionCapabilities (allowed/subset: readonly string[]) now
flows through Store.set/get as part of Channel[]; readonly arrays are
JSON-serializable, so widen SerializableArray to ReadonlyArray<Serializable>.
Mutable arrays remain assignable. No code declares a mutable SerializableArray
variable, so this only relaxes the Serializable constraint.
