What

Adds an optional authoredBySelf field to NewNote. A messaging connector sets it on a note that represents a message the connection owner sent (their own reply). The runtime then credits the note to the owner's own contact for that connection.

Why

Connectors previously had to resolve the connected user's own identity from the external service to attribute messages the user sent. That's unreliable for chat providers: many send an empty sender id for your own messages and omit you from 1:1 conversation rosters, so a per-message id can't identify you. The owner is already known from the connection, so authoredBySelf lets the runtime attribute deterministically with no extra API call. If the owner has no resolvable contact, the note falls back to whatever author the connector set.

Notes

  • Additive, backward-compatible: existing notes that don't set the field are unaffected.
  • Changeset included (minor).
