The circleci continuous integration on MacOS isn't working currently because the build stalls out and doesn't finish within the 5-hour circleci limit. I expect this is due to the resource limits of the MacOS "medium" machine which only has 4-cores and 8GB of RAM.
We have a request into circleci to get access to the MacOS "large" machine which has 8-cores and 16GB of RAM, hopefully this will take care of the issue.
In the mean time, I'll perform the MacOS builds on a local machine.
