Description

Release branch for v3.1.0

Changes

  • See CHANGELOG.md
  • In addition to the release stuff in this PR, I made the following changes:
    • Updated default topojsonURL to point to new maps
    • Added breaking change warning for 'country names' locationmode option
    • Updated schema per above changes

@camdecoster would it please be possible to increase form-data in package-lock.json to 4.0.4 or higher please? Some NPM registries are blocking plotly.js because it has a vulnerable form-data embedded in the released dist files.

I also did open #7511 to address this a slightly different way.

Description
Release branch for v3.1.0
Changes
  • See CHANGELOG.md
  • In addition to the release stuff in this PR, I made the following changes:

    • Updated default topojsonURL to point to new maps
    • Added breaking change warning for 'country names' locationmode option
    • Updated schema per above changes

@camdecoster would it please be possible to increase form-data in package-lock.json to 4.0.4 or higher please? Some NPM registries are blocking plotly.js because it has a vulnerable form-data embedded in the released dist files.
I also did open #7511 to address this a slightly different way.
