  • Review-lab testing on integration test PR ( ~ 1 hour )
  • Release in PRC ( ~ 5 minutes )
  • Create upgrade PR in Dotcom ( ~ 10 minutes )
• Friday, January 17th
  • No update ( Deploy lock )
• Monday, January 20th
  • No update (US holiday / OOO)
• Tuesday, January 21st
  • Fix merge conflicts in update PR ( ~ 1 hour )
  • Review-lab testing ( ~ 20 minutes )

  • Merge release PR in Dotcom - ( ~ 1 hour )
  • Handle rollback of PR ( 2 - 3 hours )
    • This included debugging, more review lab testing to gain confidence in merging the PR again (more context)

Time log (to be updated EOD):

• Review lab testing: 4 hours 30 minutes
• Integration test PR creation: ~ 20 minutes
• Release in Dotcom: 2 hours
• Rollback/Testing: ~ 2 hours
• Fixing merge conflict in Dotcom PR: 1 hour

Total: 9 hours 50 minutes

This week's release was pretty light, which reduced the time significantly compared to my last time as RC.
