read as detached. Moved to `right-6` (24px). Confirmed in a browser against the
live composer: computed radius 22px, tab right edge 12px in before versus 24px
after. `ComposerStashBadge` shares the same edge at `right-4` and is also inside
the radius, but is `rounded-full` so it does not misread; left alone
deliberately.

Tooling note for future sessions: `grep` in this environment can be a shell
function that silently returns nothing for some file queries. It fails as a
false negative, not an error, which makes "I searched and found nothing" claims
unsafe. Use `/usr/bin/grep` when a negative result is load-bearing.

live composer: computed radius 22px, tab right edge 12px in before versus 24px
after. `ComposerStashBadge` shares the same edge at `right-4` and is also inside
the radius, but is `rounded-full` so it does not misread; left alone
deliberately.

Tooling note for future sessions: `grep` in this environment can be a shell
function that silently returns nothing for some file queries. It fails as a
false negative, not an error, which makes "I searched and found nothing" claims
unsafe. Use `/usr/bin/grep` when a negative result is load-bearing.

Fits Pylon's motion rules: bounded transition, not a continuous repaint. **`BranchToolbar.tsx` conflicted structurally and was resolved Pylon-first** — upstream pushes the branch selector right (`justify-end md:ml-auto`), Pylon keeps it in the left run (`justify-start`, E16) beside the workspace controls with Usage opposite. Only the animation machinery was taken: the `data-composer-context-control` markers, the strip's `overflow-x-clip overflow-y-visible`, and the motion constants. A comment now marks the divergence so a later merge does not quietly undo it. |

Verification: `BranchToolbar` (56 tests), `openVsxThemes`, `themePalette`,
`vscodeThemeImport`, `themeBoot` (85 tests). Web typecheck, lint, and format
clean on both branches. `jszip@3.10.1` and `jsonc-parser@3.3.1` confirmed to
resolve after install.

Landed alongside a Pylon-local fix (PR #7): the out-of-capacity handoff tab was
inset `right-3` (12px) against a `rounded-[22px]` composer frame, so it sat on
the corner arc where its square bottom edge could not meet a straight run and
read as detached. Moved to `right-6` (24px). Confirmed in a browser against the
live composer: computed radius 22px, tab right edge 12px in before versus 24px
after. `ComposerStashBadge` shares the same edge at `right-4` and is also inside
the radius, but is `rounded-full` so it does not misread; left alone
deliberately.

Tooling note for future sessions: `grep` in this environment can be a shell
function that silently returns nothing for some file queries. It fails as a
false negative, not an error, which makes "I searched and found nothing" claims
unsafe. Use `/usr/bin/grep` when a negative result is load-bearing.
