Alex landed a PR pinning us to the RC (#15934) so I don't think you should have to wait. Most of the stubtest issues seem to be about using |
typing_extensions to >=4.16.0rc2

this bump isn't really needed as the package didn't really change much between the two rcs, but it also doesn't hurt
