About Redback Operations

The goal of Redback Operations is to encourage health and fitness through the development and production of cutting edge, connected fitness devices that improve the quality, effectivness and enjoyment factor of exercise.

Redbacks Operations' current focus centers around the development of an internet connected smart bike that allows integration of a physical bicycle into a VR and app environment.

About the IOT and Embedded Systems Team

The IOT and Embedded Systems team of Reback Operations is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of all sensors and internet connected components of the smart bikes. Currently there are two WAHOO KICKR Smart Bikes in a RIOT lab at Deakin's Burwood campus. These are used for the company's testing and development.
