Replaces flexmark-java (effectively unmaintained since 2023) with commonmark-java (actively maintained, spec-compliant, has round-trip MarkdownRenderer and RawContentParser for opaque front matter).

Changes

  • libs.versions.toml: replace flexmark-all with commonmark, commonmark-ext-gfm-tables, commonmark-ext-yaml-front-matter
  • library/build.gradle.kts: update dependencies
  • README.md: update parser rationale, front matter strategy, dependencies table

Replaces flexmark-java (effectively unmaintained since 2023) with commonmark-java (actively maintained, spec-compliant, has round-trip MarkdownRenderer and RawContentParser for opaque front matter).
Changes
  • libs.versions.toml: replace flexmark-all with commonmark, commonmark-ext-gfm-tables, commonmark-ext-yaml-front-matter
  • library/build.gradle.kts: update dependencies
  • README.md: update parser rationale, front matter strategy, dependencies table
