On macOS the launcher resolves settings.json relative to its working directory, which for a Jagex Launcher install is inside the RuneLite.app bundle. macOS 14 blocks writes there, so saving from the Configure window fails -- silently, since saveSettings() only logs the IOException and ConfigurationFrame.save() then reports success and closes. Document the symptom, how to confirm it from launcher.log, and the App Management workaround, plus a pointer from the launcher configuration page. On MacOS, trying to set client arguments fails if the Terminal app doesn't have the correct permissions, and you only notice if you read the terminal output closely afterwards. You get a message like
This made me run around for a bit trying to get it to work, there was no clear fix. So this updates the wiki on how to use Jagex Accounts by including info on how to notice/bypass this issue
