🎓 2nd Year CS Student @ SJCET, Palai

👋 About Me

I'm Rojith, a CS major who enjoys taking ideas, inconveniences, and "there should probably be an easier way to do this" moments and turning them into software or — as I like to call it — convenience. :>

Most of my learning happens by building.

Whether it's experimenting with Flutter, working with databases, writing backend logic, or wrestling with an algorithm that absolutely refuses to make sense at 1 AM, I like tinkering and figuring things out.

I've built projects such as Filous and Campus Crunch, using them as opportunities to implement what I've learnt outside regular academics.

My current focus is on:

  • 🧠 Strengthening my Data Structures & Algorithms fundamentals
  • 📱 Building and exploring with Flutter
  • ⚙️ Learning more about backend systems and application architecture
  • 🗄️ Working with databases, SQL, and data-driven applications
  • 🛠️ Building software that solves real, everyday problems

My goal is simple: find friction, understand it, and engineer something better.

🧱 Things I've Built

🍽️ Campus Crunch

A project built around making campus food ordering and management a little less painful.

The idea is straightforward: reduce unnecessary friction between students, canteen staff, and food. Projects like this are where I enjoy thinking beyond just writing code — considering the user flow, data handling, and the actual problem the software is supposed to solve.

💸 Filous

A project built around making budgeting and tracking your spending a breeze, especially for broke yet responsible college students :>

Filous represents the part of development I enjoy most: starting with a problem or concept, breaking it down into smaller pieces, and slowly turning it into something that actually works.

P.S.: Filous is my very first Android app btw!

Still learning. Still breaking things. Usually fixing them.

Snek 🐍 also seems to be unwell! Will bring him back as soon as he's feeling better :P
