I'm Samuel Lowe (he/him), a mathematician, data scientist, and software engineer specializing in platform work and full-stack web development, based in the greater Boston area. I graduated from Northeastern University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics in 2023 and an M.S. in Applied Math in 2025. Some of my projects, like nprcore.me, have been recognized by National Public Radio and All Things Considered.
I'm currently consulting as a data analyst at the Center for Strategic Politics and as the lead software engineer for Oasis Management Inc. At CSP, I designed the weighted single transferable vote algorithm behind our 2025 New York City mayoral primary poll, which was featured in the New York Times. At Oasis, I lead a team of four other engineers building the Django employee portal and our mobile app. However, I'm also available for full-time or part-time work starting January 2027. You can see more at my work experience page and resume, and reach me on LinkedIn or at sam@samlowe.dev.
