JSON

JSON is a simple, type-safe JSON type implemented in pure Swift. It's intended to be lightweight and ergonomic. Most especially, it can be used in model value types that need to be sendable.

Usage

json["object"]["four_text"].stringValue // "four"

Swift nil maps to JSON null in literals and subscript assignments:

varobject:JSON=["name":"Blob"]object["deleted_at"]=nilasJSON? // stores JSON.null
object.removeValue(forKey:"name") // removes the key

Missing keys return nil and are distinct from explicit JSON null.
