Summary

Code review pass over the repo. All changes verified with a clean Release build across net8.0/net9.0/net10.0, the full integration test suite, and manual smoke tests of the built tool.

  • Dependencies: remove unused Colorful.Console; upgrade Figgle 0.5.1 → 0.6.6 (fonts moved to the new Figgle.Fonts package) and McMaster.Extensions.CommandLineUtils 4.1.1 → 5.1.0
  • CLI fix: flags after the folder name (e.g. seedfolder myfolder --dry-run) were silently ignored; the parser now accepts flags in any position, errors on unknown flags, and errors on extra positional args. --quiet now suppresses the "Using template type" message regardless of flag order
  • CI: replace archived rohith/publish-nuget@v2.1.1 with maintained alirezanet/publish-nuget@v3.1.0; remove obsolete/insecure ACTIONS_ALLOW_UNSECURE_COMMANDS; drop unused nuget/setup-nuget step
  • Cleanup: remove dead GetDefaultTemplate(); update docs that referenced Colorful.Console
  • Tests: new integration cases (sh + ps1) for flags after/around the folder name and unknown-flag error handling
  • Release: bump package version from the currently published 1.4.0 to 1.4.1

fix(cli): parse flags in any position and drop unused deps

Rewrite the argument-parsing loop in Main() so flags (--help, --version,
--list-templates, --dry-run, --force, --quiet, --template/--type/-t) can
appear anywhere on the command line instead of only before the folder
name; previously `seedfolder myfolder --dry-run` silently ignored the
flag. Unknown flags and a second positional argument now produce an
error and exit 1.
Also remove the unused Colorful.Console package reference, upgrade
Figgle to 0.6.6 (fonts moved to the new Figgle.Fonts package) and
McMaster.Extensions.CommandLineUtils to 5.1.0, and delete the dead
GetDefaultTemplate() helper.

as using Colorful.Console, which was removed as an unused dependency.

Remove the obsolete/insecure ACTIONS_ALLOW_UNSECURE_COMMANDS flag and
the unused setup-nuget step, and switch from the unmaintained
rohith/publish-nuget to the actively maintained alirezanet/publish-nuget
fork, keeping the same inputs.

Add cases exercising --dry-run/--quiet/-t/--force flags placed after
(and interleaved around) the folder name argument, plus a case
asserting an unknown flag exits non-zero, mirrored in both the bash
and PowerShell integration test scripts.

Summary
Code review pass over the repo. All changes verified with a clean Release build across net8.0/net9.0/net10.0, the full integration test suite, and manual smoke tests of the built tool.
  • Dependencies: remove unused Colorful.Console; upgrade Figgle 0.5.1 → 0.6.6 (fonts moved to the new Figgle.Fonts package) and McMaster.Extensions.CommandLineUtils 4.1.1 → 5.1.0

Rewrite the argument-parsing loop in Main() so flags (--help, --version,
--list-templates, --dry-run, --force, --quiet, --template/--type/-t) can
appear anywhere on the command line instead of only before the folder
name; previously `seedfolder myfolder --dry-run` silently ignored the
flag. Unknown flags and a second positional argument now produce an
error and exit 1.
Also remove the unused Colorful.Console package reference, upgrade
Figgle to 0.6.6 (fonts moved to the new Figgle.Fonts package) and
McMaster.Extensions.CommandLineUtils to 5.1.0, and delete the dead

the unused setup-nuget step, and switch from the unmaintained

Add cases exercising --dry-run/--quiet/-t/--force flags placed after
(and interleaved around) the folder name argument, plus a case
asserting an unknown flag exits non-zero, mirrored in both the bash
and PowerShell integration test scripts.
