I recently passed my PhD viva at the University of Plymouth and am currently looking for new opportunities. My thesis, Deconstructing the Wildscape, examines the cultural heritage and Holocene palaeoecology of the Humberhead Levels — challenging the divide between "pristine" and human-altered landscapes. My research sits at the intersection of geoarchaeology, palaeoecology, and geomatics, and I'm also interested in open-source tools, machine learning for environmental science, and science communication.
