PC app doesn't recognise the virtual mic

I created a new virtual mic successfully with PulseAudio, Apps like Discord recognise it.

However, the AndroidMic app itself does not, and neither does pavucontrol/pwvucontrol.

Because of this (I assume), I can't connect my PC and phone, it just says "Failed to connect". I don't know how to fix this issue.

For me it doesn't even recognize the sink. I use Legcord so idk if that's an issue.

EDIT: Should have searched for other existing issues rather than adding onto the latest, this seems to be a duplicate issue of #71.

Having the same issue, the virtual_mic Audio/Sink sink created from the Linux commands provided on the README.md doesn't get list in the "Audio Devices" in AndroidMic (appimage 2.2.6).

Current workaround is setting the "Audio Device" in AndroidMic to "Default ALSA Output (currently PipeWire Media Server)" and remapping in qpwgraph/helvum "PipeWire ALSA [android-mic]/ALSA Playback [android-mic] [ALSA Playback]" to "virtual_mic Audio/Sink sink".

Now if you set your default input device to "Remapped virtual_mic.monitor source" the phones microphone now works as the PC microphone.

If the sink properly showed in "Audio Devices" qpwgraph/helvum would not be needed and would look something like the following images:

We will soon probably default to pipewire since cpal have support for it now. Maybe it will fix it
