This patch doesn't replace struct sof_intel_hda_dev with hda_bus, but
embed hda_bus in sof_intel_hda_dev. It's becasue there are a few memebers
of sof_intel_hda_dev are not in hda_bus.

Host streams are managed by hdac_bus's stream_list now.

Compiling okay. But not test yet. May have conflict with Keyon's PR today.
I'll rebase and merge it to Keyon's PR later.

The inline assembly for arm64's cmpxchg_double*() implementations use a
+Q constraint to hazard against other accesses to the memory location
being exchanged. However, the pointer passed to the constraint is a
pointer to unsigned long, and thus the hazard only applies to the first
8 bytes of the location.
GCC can take advantage of this, assuming that other portions of the
location are unchanged, leading to a number of potential problems.
This is similar to what we fixed back in commit:
fee960b ("arm64: xchg: hazard against entire exchange variable")
... but we forgot to adjust cmpxchg_double*() similarly at the same
time.
The same problem applies, as demonstrated with the following test:
| struct big {
| u64 lo, hi;
| } __aligned(128);
|
| unsigned long foo(struct big *b)
| {
| u64 hi_old, hi_new;
|
| hi_old = b->hi;
| cmpxchg_double_local(&b->lo, &b->hi, 0x12, 0x34, 0x56, 0x78);
| hi_new = b->hi;
|
| return hi_old ^ hi_new;
| }
... which GCC 12.1.0 compiles as:
| 0000000000000000 <foo>:

Notice that at the lines with "BANG" comments, GCC has assumed that the
higher 8 bytes are unchanged by the cmpxchg_double() call, and that
`hi_old ^ hi_new` can be reduced to a constant zero, for both LSE and
LL/SC versions of cmpxchg_double().
This patch fixes the issue by passing a pointer to __uint128_t into the
+Q constraint, ensuring that the compiler hazards against the entire 16
bytes being modified.

... sampling the high 8 bytes before and after the cmpxchg, and
performing an EOR, as we'd expect.
For backporting, I've tested this atop linux-4.9.y with GCC 5.5.0. Note
that linux-4.9.y is oldest currently supported stable release, and
mandates GCC 5.1+. Unfortunately I couldn't get a GCC 5.1 binary to run
on my machines due to library incompatibilities.
I've also used a standalone test to check that we can use a __uint128_t
pointer in a +Q constraint at least as far back as GCC 4.8.5 and LLVM
3.9.1.

When there are memory-only nodes (nodes without CPUs), these nodes are not
properly initialized, causing kernel panic during boot.
of_numa_init
of_numa_parse_cpu_nodes
node_set(nid, numa_nodes_parsed);
of_numa_parse_memory_nodes
In of_numa_parse_cpu_nodes, numa_nodes_parsed gets updated only for nodes
containing CPUs. Memory-only nodes should have been updated in
of_numa_parse_memory_nodes, but they weren't.
Subsequently, when free_area_init() attempts to access NODE_DATA() for
these uninitialized memory nodes, the kernel panics due to NULL pointer
dereference.
This can be reproduced on ARM64 QEMU with 1 CPU and 2 memory nodes:

It was biscted to commit c7323a5 ("mm/slub: restrict sysfs
validation to debug caches and make it safe")
The problem is inside free_debug_processing(), under certain
circumstances the slab can be removed from the partial list but not
freed by discard_slab() and thus n->nr_slabs is not decreased
accordingly. During shutdown, this non-zero n->nr_slabs is detected and
reported.
Specifically, the problem is that there are two checks for detecting a
full partial list by comparing n->nr_partial >= s->min_partial where the
latter check is affected by remove_partial() decreasing n->nr_partial
between the checks. Reoganize the code so there is a single check
upfront.

The xfstests' test-case generic/003 fails with errors:
sudo ./check generic/003
FSTYP -- hfs
PLATFORM -- Linux/x86_64 hfsplus-testing-0001 7.0.0-rc1+ thesofproject#18 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri Mar 13 17:54:19 PDT 2026
MKFS_OPTIONS -- /dev/loop51
MOUNT_OPTIONS -- /dev/loop51 /mnt/scratch
output mismatch
QA output created by 003
ERROR: access time has changed for file1 after remount
ERROR: access time has changed after modifying file1
ERROR: change time has not been updated after changing file1
ERROR: access time has changed for file in read-only filesystem
Silence is golden
This patch fixes the issue with change time by
adding inode_set_ctime_current() and mark_inode_dirty()
in hfs_rename(). Also, it reworks hfs_inode_setattr() by
changing simple_inode_init_ts() on inode_set_mtime_to_ts()
and inode_set_ctime_current() calls.
HFS hasn't any field in on-disk layout that can keep
the file/folder access times (atime). It was added
setting of SB_NOATIME in SB_NOATIME.
Finally, we have only atime related errors in
generic/003 output:
sudo ./check generic/003
FSTYP -- hfs
PLATFORM -- Linux/x86_64 hfsplus-testing-0001 7.1.0-rc1+ thesofproject#52 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Wed May 13 15:04:37 PDT 2026
MKFS_OPTIONS -- /dev/loop51
MOUNT_OPTIONS -- /dev/loop51 /mnt/scratch
QA output created by 003
ERROR: access time has not been updated after accessing file1 first time
ERROR: access time has not been updated after accessing file2
ERROR: access time has not been updated after accessing file3 second time
ERROR: access time has not been updated after accessing file3 third time
Silence is golden
The generic/003 test-case needs to be disabled for HFS case
because it cannot support the file/folder access times (atime).
