My name is Lucky J. Yang, and Lucky is an easy to pronounce English name, comes from a metaphor hidden in my Chinese name.

I count myself as an academic, I work somewhere between earth system science, data science and more basic statistics and physics, but I've also studied and learnt about other interesting things like Raspberry Pi and some embedded, and I'm interested in making my own stuff, although probably not very good at it:)
