https://github.com/ajv-validator/ajv or https://github.com/hyperjump-io/json-schema-validator as they both support the latest schema: https://json-schema.org/specification.html

There are tools that can generate from code but none that follow the latest schema.

I stumbled into zod after switching to typescript.

At least it has a well maintained zod-to-json-schema package at the moment it can generate draft 07 schema (The one schema most IDEs currently support) and openapi v3 schema.
Benefit of zod it actually provides type inferences in typescript so you don't have to declare the object type.

Previously I used joi in release drafter which did not offer type inferences and the joi to json schema was still outputting draft 04
